Married in the summer of 1988, we have been creating magic ever since.

Peg had been creating beaded jewelry for many years. Her jewelry boxes were overflowing with all her creativity. After honing her skills in wireworks it was time to expand the hobby.

In 2007, we decided to share her passion for creating jewelry with others by forming our company, BG Customs. BG Customs actually started out in the garage behind our house on the Blue Ridge mountains (BG stands for Bubba's Garage).

Not wanting to be left out, I soon revived an old skill of creating chainmaille. Back in my college days I had created a shirt of maille and figured I could switch from steel to precious metal jewelry fairly easily. Hundreds of jewelry pieces later proved that I was right.
